FL Standard Diploma Requirements for High School Advising

For homeschooling families in Florida, it often feels like an overwhelming task to plan out your child's high school curriculum. If your child has plans for a university, trade school, or two year college, you may want to take a peek at what a traditional student is required to complete. Many admissions counselors will be looking for homeschool transcripts that display equivalent coursework. It will help you to determine required credits, but contact your school of choice to see what they want from a homeschooler. Don't forget, your student is not required to follow this structure. Use it as guide to help shape their own, individualized high school career. The parent is required to create both the high school transcript and issue their child's diploma.
